S1E2 - Breaking Up With My Trash Collector

Episode two! This is a big episode. My first break-up. Wow. It wasn't easy choosing who would be first but I eventually settled on possibly the most low-stakes relationship I had: my trash collector. Or, as he refers to himself, a "Refuse Expert." This one doesn't go QUITE as I expected. Gibbs is a funny guy with a lot of not-so-funny problems and I wasn't proud of adding one to the list. And as you'll hear, Gibbs wasn't so proud either.

We Need to Break Up is a serialized, interview podcast about my quest to overcome my fear of confrontation and break up with my long-term girlfriend Elaine. With help from my therapist Dr. Lauren Dice, I will be breaking up with new people every month as practice for ending my romantic relationship. It's going to be awkward. It's going to be difficult. It might even be painful. But maybe we'll learn something? I hope so.
